No, apprehension is understandable and not at all invalid. That said, if we are not armed, how exactly do we subvert patriarchy, capitalism, and authoritarianism? We don’t. We have no choice. Harriet Tubman had to arm herself, and so too do we.

Now, as for how exactly organized and armed self-defence is organized and armed, there are many questions to answer, for sure, but, thanks to a left that has been busy the last few decades being incompetent, they have often not even be presented, let alone discussed.

That said, Robert F. Williams, a VERY big influence on black radicals like Stokely Carmichael and the Black Panthers, wrote ‘Negroes With Guns’ on the matter way back when.
